eric penn x elseworld

i’ve partnered with Eric Penn officially since 2024, though i’ve been a fan of his music since 2018. in traditional terms, most people would say i’m his manager. there’s not much traditional about us or our approach though. Eric is an independent artist, writer, and producer. together, we are building a sustainable revenue model around his art. we create strategies for bringing his creative works into the world and build models that best honor his art while also connecting and growing his audience.

his upcoming album, “R.I.D.E.” stands for “Relax. Indulge. Drift. Escape.” and is a 14+ song concept album that tells stories of life and love through car analogies. we’ve built a plan to roll the album out for a year in advance of the official album release in summer 2027. a single is released each month leading up to the album drop. every song feels like it’s own stop on a year-long road trip.

each month, we release a new single from the album that includes:

• 1 live performance

• 1 music video

• 1 comedic skit (teases song title and release date)

• 1 exclusive merch drop

• Monthly early access music embedded into merch and activations

my role is broad as the two of us work in true collaboration. once the music is finished (that’s all Eric and his producer, Brandon Jhon), i shift from strategist to producer, to videographer / photographer, to booking agent, product designer, etc. Eric and i are thought partners across all aspects as we strategize and execute. while the work we do is challenging and requires focus and consistency, my favorite part of working together is our mutual commitment to have fun as we go.
